PRIME Project – Science Commercialisation Support

The PRIME Project is aimed at scientists working in Polish research organisations who, by forming project teams, want to verify the market potential, as well as develop and implement the most appropriate commercialisation path for their ideas, including through the set-up of a spin-off.

FIRST TEAM FENG

FIRST TEAM makes it possible to obtain funding to set up a research team and conduct innovative research in Poland with a potential for application.

Nicolaus Copernicus Polish-German Research Award

The Copernicus Award is donated by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP). It awards outstanding achievements in German-Polish cooperation in all fields of science and the humanities.

The Poland – U.S. Science Award

The Poland - U.S. Science Award is a common undertaking between the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and the American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS).

THE FNP PRIZE

Individual prize for eminent researchers for their outstanding achievements or discoveries. Regarded as the most prestigious of its kind in Poland.

MONOGRAPHS

Under the program, the Foundation funds the publication of selected original and previously unpublished works in the humanities and social sciences.

MONOGRAPHS’ Editing/Adiustacje

Financing the costs of linguistic editing of works prepared for publication in a conference language in the field of the humanities and social sciences.

The Leszek Kołakowski Honorary Fellowship

To honour and promote the research of young scholars, of any nationality, who have made an outstanding contribution to the history of ideas or the history of medieval and modern philosophy up to 1939.

The Foundation does not grant funding for:

to carry out statutory tasks and supplement the budget of scientific institutions;
subsidising higher education, doctoral and postgraduate studies;
organising seminars, conferences, summer schools and student research trips;
subsidising participation in courses and training trips;
publishing research results, conference proceedings and subsidising journals (with the exception of Open Access publications, funding for which is available under certain programmes);
supplementing library and museum resources;
purchasing equipment of a typically teaching nature.
